Stainless by Montoya worker shirt (2023)

We were very happy with this commission from Montoya: a kitchen shirt designed for their new kitchen project, Stainless. They wanted something more functional, more comfortable, and more aligned with their visual identity than a traditional apron.

So we designed an overshirt built with structure and movement in mind: durable cotton, reinforced seams, practical pockets, and a silhouette that allowed the staff to work long hours without feeling constrained. It offered the protection of an apron, but with the look and feel of a garment made for real use, not just utility.

The best part was seeing how quickly the staff embraced it. It blended into Montoya’s contemporary style and gave the team a cohesive image, one that matched the care they put into everything they do.
