Crafted from carefully selected Low-tension Japanese selvedge denim and cut in a clean, regular fit, these jeans are built to evolve beautifully with wear. Stitched on vintage industrial machines using robust construction and the finest threads, Japanese brass hardware, and generous pockets lined with organic cotton.
The fabric: Modelled after the rugged selvedges of the 1950s, this denim blends Australian and US cottons in a strong, uneven weave. Produced on gravity looms at low tension, it carries a distinctive slubby texture and deep, extra-dark indigo tone. Over time, the loose warp yarns create a bold, vintage-style fade, just like the originals.
For hemming, we use the legendary Union Special 43200G chainstitch machine, creating the signature roping fade, a hidden detail true denim enthusiasts appreciate.
The standard length is 32", but we can tailor it to your preferred length at no extra cost.

Care instructions: This garment is made of raw and unwashed denim, with no water wasted or pollution created in the process. Over time, they’ll fade uniquely, shaped by your movements and daily life, provided you treat them well. Wear them hard before the first wash. When the time comes, expect some shrinkage: turn them inside out, soak in cold water, and dry in the shade.
