The Maker's Vest was designed in collab with our friends at Florentine Kitchen Knives, combining their experience at the workbench with our approach to garment making.

Every vest is cut and sewn in our Barcelona workshop on restored vintage industrial sewing machines. Made from lightweight dry-waxed Herringbone canvas by Halley Stevensons and finished with custom Japanese copper buttons, it is designed to be durable, comfortable and ready for years of use. 

Fabric

A dry-waxed herringbone canvas from Halley Stevensons, with a soft, silky handle that still carries the character of true waxed cloth: it creases, cracks, and develops a rich patina with wear.

Dense-woven for durability and naturally long-lasting, it can be reproofed and maintained by the wearer for years of use. The wax softens and breathes in warm weather, then stiffens for wind resistance in the cold.

Every mark and crease becomes part of the garment's story.

Fit & Sizing

Please note: this garment has a slightly smaller fit due to its double-layer construction. We recommend choosing one size up for a more comfortable fit.

Care Instructions

  • Wash cold and gently when needed
  • Hot water will shrink it
  • Turn inside out and dry in the shade
  • Avoid bleach and tumble dryers
  • With time, the indigo will fade naturally, developing a character unique to your wear
